"Some of my oldest childhood memories are of painting, which is not unexpected since painting seems as innate as breathing for me. My sentiments pour onto canvas with little predestination, control without convention, just a rush of instincts and passions. I do mostly figurative pieces heavy with mood and color. Many of these are self portraits, as I guess I can only honestly show the world by my own perception, through my own involvement. I also photograph, sculpt, and write in a similar style. These pieces have all been done within these past two years, viewing moments from the inside and seeing myself as an identity within them."
