In the spacious setting of the M1-5 Lounge, an innovative collaboration of artists will delve into visual and performing arts with a common thread to hold them together. With the city as their chosen theme, four New York City artists span disciplines to explore living in a city of dreams. Samm Cohen will bathe you in vibrant hues and compelling forms with her cutting-edge painting, photography, and poetry while David Velez explores through photography the shadow and movement of the NYC music underground, finding hidden stars in the darkness of the scene. John Virag compels the audience with intimacy, emotion and haunting imagery though music and drama and Michael Ables will entertain and astound you with an array of songs, monologs, poetry and special guests. City promises to be an exciting mix of carefully planed events and improvised involvement with the audience that will make this venture unique and appealing.
